In this role, you will:

  • Guide strategic cross-functional Global Strategic priority teams through agile practices and tools.

  • Relentless focus on helping the team communicate, collaborate, help each other in the removal of barriers, and continues focus on the customer needs.

  • Connect agile values to compass ways of working in tangible actions that the team can learn, practice, and eventually mature on.

  • Organize and facilitate all scrum related meetings (stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews, demos, etc.).

  • Work with the product owner and team to develop roadmaps and manage backlog.

  • Monitors team backlog daily and ensure it accurately reflects the current state of the sprint.

  • Works with product owners and stakeholders to refine vision and establish goals and metrics.

  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management.

  • Prioritizes workload and ensures appropriate sizing and standardization of user stories.

  • Coach product owner, other scrum masters, and individual team members in opportunities for improvement in mindset and practices to drive the team to higher engagement.

  • Act as an agile ambassador in sessions across the organization like communities of practice, and leadership forums.

  • Ensure the team reaches a position to sustain the learning, mindset, and practices.

  • Co-create the agile standard for the business and socialize it as part of the overall change management plan.

  • Train and coaches more junior scrum masters.

  • Train the organization on agile values, practices, and tools.

  • Oversee the integration and use of Azure DevOps tools within project teams to optimize collaboration, code management, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Develop and manage dashboards in Azure DevOps to provide real-time insights into project metrics and performance.

  • Ensure configuration and maintenance of Azure DevOps environments to support agile project management and team workflows.

  • Facilitate the adoption of Azure DevOps features among the team, ensuring they are leveraged to enhance project transparency and delivery efficiency.

  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the Azure DevOps setup.

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, demonstrating a foundational academic background which supports analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • 6+ years of experience leading both Scrum and Kanban Agile Teams: Extensive hands-on experience in managing and leading teams using Scrum and Kanban methodologies, indicating a deep understanding of different agile practices and the ability to apply them effectively in various project settings.

  • 6+ years of Scrum Master active experience: Proven track record as a Scrum Master, facilitating all aspects of project management and team dynamics to ensure agile practices are implemented effectively.

  • 6+ years of experience / ability to influence, engage teams & drive change: Demonstrated capability in influencing and engaging teams, driving organizational change with an assertive, active listening, and strong communication skill set.

  • Current professional certification in Agile Methodologies (RTE, Scrum Master) from a recognized Agile certifier: Holds up-to-date professional certifications such as Release Train Engineer or Certified Scrum Master, ensuring knowledge of the latest agile methodologies and practices.

  • Stakeholder Management, Negotiation & Communication Skills: Strong skills in managing stakeholders, negotiating, and communicating effectively across all levels of the organization to manage expectations and align project objectives with business goals.

  • ADO experience: Experienced in using and setting up Azure DevOps (ADO) tools for managing projects, demonstrating proficiency in leveraging these platforms for agile project tracking and management.

  • Self-starter with strong sense of urgency in delivering results: Highly motivated individual who initiates projects and tasks with a clear focus on achieving outcomes swiftly and efficiently, while continuously seeking to understand and drive better solutions.

  • Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the organization including suppliers, partners, and customers: Capable of effectively collaborating in a diverse, virtual environment that includes working with teams spread across different geographical locations and organizational boundaries.

  • Verbal and written fluency in English is required: Must have excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, to ensure clear and effective communication in a global business setting.

  • A must - high EQ, i.e., really manage the “soft” side of the leadership and cross-functional interactions: Possesses a high emotional quotient (EQ), adept at managing interpersonal relations and dynamics, ensuring a balance of assertiveness and trust within the team and with stakeholders.

  • Soft Skills and Others:

    • Familiarity or experience with SAFe practices, enhancing the capability to scale agile across larger, more complex projects.

    • Experience in roles that require coordination across multiple scrum teams, demonstrating advanced organizational and leadership skills.

    • Background in lean methodologies or continuous improvement processes, indicative of a proactive approach to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project workflows.

    • Experience in business-to-business settings, which typically involve complex project management and stakeholder engagement challenges.

    • Exposure to design thinking processes, which helps in understanding user needs and fostering innovation in product and service development.
