The Opportunity:
As a Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in facilitating the Scrum framework and Agile principles within our teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leaders to ensure the successful implementation of Scrum and Agile practices, promoting collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, ensuring active participation from team members and stakeholders.

Coach Agile Teams: Guide teams in understanding and adopting Agile principles, values, and practices, promoting a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Remove Impediments: Identify and remove impediments that obstruct the team's progress, working closely with teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.

Improve Processes: Continuously monitor and improve Scrum processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to optimize team efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders, including Product Owners, to ensure that their needs are met and that the team has a clear understanding of priorities and goals.

Monitor Progress: Track and report on team progress, identifying trends, and providing insights to improve team performance and productivity.

Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, promoting experimentation, learning, and innovation within the team.

Scrum Framework Expertise: Maintain expertise in the Scrum framework and Agile principles, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Team Building and Dynamics: Foster positive team dynamics, promoting collaboration, trust, and open communication among team members.

Metrics and Reporting: Develop and maintain metrics to measure team performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders and leadership.

Capturing Requirements: Capture requirements from all stakeholders, ensuring that their needs and expectations are clearly understood and documented.

Managing Priorities: Manage priorities from stakeholders, ensuring that the team is working on the most important tasks and delivering value to the business.

User Story Development: Help with writing and grooming user stories, ensuring that they are clear, concise, and meet the needs of the stakeholders.

Prioritizing User Stories: Help prioritize user stories, ensuring that the team is working on the most important and valuable tasks.

Testing and Validation: Provide testing and validation prior to going to production, ensuring that the product meets the needs and expectations of the stakeholders.

Single Point of Contact for SNOW: Serve as a single point of contact for SNOW (Service Now) requests, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently, and that the development team is not interrupted.

Managing Multiple Projects: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the project, ensuring that all stakeholders are satisfied with the outcome.

Continuous Learning: Continuously learn and improve, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and applying this knowledge to improve the team's performance and delivery.
Qualifications:
Required:

Candidate must be Technical expert status accreditation (TESA) eligible.

Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.

Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.

Agile Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$63,300 - 129,700 USD
