Primary Responsibilities:
- *Facilitate Agile team events, including Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Iteration Reviews, and Iteration Retrospectives, ensuring meetings are productive and conducted within established timeboxes
- *Guide the Agile team through planning, execution, review, and reflection activities to support consistent delivery
- *Coach team members in Scrum, Kanban, and quality practices
- *Promote and reinforce self-organization and self-management within the Agile team
- *Mentor team members to foster a continuous learning mindset and encourage independent problem solving
- *Identify and help eliminate bottlenecks, delays, and waste to improve team workflow efficiency
- *Assist the Agile team in meeting delivery goals and maintaining focus on iteration and PI objectives
- *Support the Product Owner in backlog management and prioritization activities
- *Ensure requirements and priorities are clearly communicated and understood by the team
- *Facilitate healthy team dynamics around scope, priorities, and commitments
- *Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and the Release Train Engineer (RTE) during PI Planning and ART-level events
- *Support coordination and alignment across Agile Teams within the ART
- *Analyze team performance metrics, delivery progress, and key performance indicators
- *Guide the team in using metrics and insights to address challenges and improve execution
- *Facilitate retrospectives focused on continuous improvement and value delivery
- *Own end to end delivery of programs that span multiple functions, technologies, and stakeholders, with direct impact to business and operational outcomes
- *Act as a recognized subject matter expert and escalation point for the most complex or critical issues, including enterprise level product defects and delivery risks
- *Anticipate customer, business, and operational needs; proactively identify systemic risks and opportunities, and define innovative, scalable solutions
- *Own executive level communications and reporting, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience leading complex technology programs in large, matrixed organizations
- Experience working as a Scrum Master and solid working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean-Agile practices
- Experience supporting Agile Release Trains and participating in PI Planning activities
- Experience analyzing team metrics and using data to guide team improvement and delivery outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently on ambiguous, high impact initiatives with executive visibility
- Demonstrated ability to coach teams on Agile practices, self-organization, and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to collaborate with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and other Scrum Masters
- Proven solid strategic thinking, analytical problem solving, and stakeholder influence skills
- Proven solid facilitation skills with the ability to lead effective, time-boxed Agile ceremonies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated or healthcare environments
- Experience working within a SAFe or scaled Agile environment.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to support Agile delivery activities such as backlog refinement, planning, retrospectives, and flow analysis, while ensuring human ownership and decision-making remain intact
- Experience in Agentic Scrum integrating AI agents into Agile
- Experience using AI-powered tools to automate reporting and track performance metrics
