Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SCRM Supervisory Analyst with a robust background in logistics operations within military or government environments. This role will be instrumental in gathering client requirements, translating them into actionable plans, and navigating ambiguous scenarios to support the government client. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), strong expertise in parts management, and an understanding of key factors that influence Administrative Lead Times (ALT) and Procurement Lead Times (PLT). The candidate should also have strong analytic skills, demonstrating high proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with SQL is preferred.
What You'll Do:
- Lead Time Analysis and Improvement: Evaluate and analyze factors affecting Administrative Lead Times (ALT) and Procurement Lead Times (PLT) leveraging Exiger technology / capabilities. Collaborate with government stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to minimize lead times, improving the end-to-end procurement cycle of the DLA.
- Client Requirement Gathering and Strategic Guidance: Engage with government clients to gather requirements. Translate these requirements into actionable, structured plans to achieve desired outcomes. Provide strategic recommendations to government leadership at various levels. Ensure that proposed solutions align with government objectives and organizational goals.
- Technical Acumen and Training: Quickly adapt to new logistics management tools (e.g., Parts Lifecycle Management (PLM)) and systems. Train government stakeholders in the effective use of these tools to supplement Exiger tools and capabilities, as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Build strong relationships with government stakeholders and work collaboratively to support mission critical agency efforts. Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of seniority to provide updates, gather feedback, and refine processes.
Who You Are:
- You can demonstrate expertise in utilizing advanced SCRM tools and platforms, such as Exiger's DDIQ, for risk assessment and reporting.
- You have proven ability to deliver high-quality, auditable reports under tight deadlines.
- You are strong understanding of supply chain ecosystems, including the ability to map and analyze complex dependencies and risks.
What You'll Need:
- Possess a SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree required. Equivalent military or government experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mid-level role supporting government and/or military customers, particularly in the areas of supply chain risk management.
- Strong analytical skills, demonstrating high proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting, along with experience using business intelligence tools and the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with SQL is preferred.
- Demonstrated eagerness to continuously learn and stay informed about evolving logistics practices, government standards, and emerging tools to optimize processes and deliver innovative solutions.
- Strong understanding of factors impacting Administrative Lead Times (ALT) and Procurement Lead Times (PLT), preferably in a government or military setting.
- Effective at gathering client requirements and translating them into structured, actionable steps that meet operational goals.
- Ability to confidently navigate ambiguous requirements, suggest multiple courses of action, and make informed recommendations to senior leadership.
- Strong ability to train government stakeholders on new tools and systems, ensuring skill transfer and capability building.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in logistics operations, particularly within a military or government setting. Direct experience with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in parts management, including inventory control, lifecycle tracking, and supply chain coordination.
- Familiarity with PLM tools and systems, with a proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Prior military service or direct experience within military logistics frameworks.
