Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SCRM Implementation Engineer with a strong background in Parts Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and system integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with both internal and external engineering teams to implement and integrate logistics solutions, particularly in a military or government setting. This role requires a mix of technical expertise and effective communication skills to provide guidance, troubleshooting, and act as a liaison for technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytic skills and demonstrated proficiency in Excel, business intelligence tools, and SQL are a must to support data-driven decision making.

What You'll Do:

  • Stakeholder Engagement and System Integration: Gather requirements from government stakeholders and translate them into actionable technical plans. Lead the implementation and integration of Exiger and DLA systems (e.g., Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)), collaborating closely with Exiger engineering teams and DLA / DoD partners. Contribute technical knowledge to ensure all client requirements are fully incorporated into engineering designs and project plans.
  • Technical Guidance and Troubleshooting: Provide expert technical guidance to DLA engineering teams and logistics personnel. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve system issues to maintain operational continuity and efficiency.
  • Liaison and Process Improver: Act as the central Exiger point of contact for system integration projects, coordinating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ensure that all parties are aligned on project goals, timelines, and technical requirements. Suggest optimizations for workflows, system configurations, and data management processes.
  • Training: Train government stakeholders on system usage, empowering them with the knowledge to utilize SCRM tools effectively, as needed.

What You'll Need:

  • Possess a SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Equivalent military or government experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • At least 7 years of experience in implementing similar technologies in a professional / government setting.
  • Ability to work at DLA offices at Fort Belvoir up to 3 days per week.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and demonstrated proficiency in Excel, business intelligence tools, and SQL for comprehensive data analysis, reporting, and insights generation
  • Ability to handle dynamic project requirements and government stakeholders, adapt to new tools quickly, and effectively train others on new systems and procedures.
  • Proven experience in system integration, with a focus on collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams to implement and optimize solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, including software, hardware, and configuration problems and implementing fixes.
  • Strong track record of working cross functionally to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable plans for non-technical audiences, and vice versa, ensuring all parties are aligned on project goals and technical requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with military or government logistics systems and problem sets, especially with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
  • Familiarity with systems integration tools, APIs, and protocols for connecting disparate systems.
  • Previous experience with parts lifecycle management tools and system optimization strategies in a government or defense contracting setting.
