Responsibilities:
- Conduct first-level quality control of AI-generated Enriched Master Template for AI subtitle translation, ensuring alignment with project specifications
- Edit and adjust scripts for grammar, coherence, timing, and natural delivery
- Use QC checklists and tools to document reviews and contribute to data-driven feedback loops
- Maintain project timelines and work in sync with X.Sub Leads and Project Managers
- Report recurring issues or systemic challenges to the Senior QC or X.Sub Language Manager
- Collaborate with team leads and peers across different regions and time zones
- Support continuous improvement by tracking frequent errors and proposing fixes
- May be assigned ad hoc QC reviews on pilot projects or new client formats
- Stay current with Alto tools and evolving editorial workflows
- Support knowledge sharing, training and onboarding for new editors or freelancers
- Conduct structured training sessions for new freelance editors to ensure consistency in quality and workflow standards
Skills and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Media, Hindi, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in subtitling, post-editing, or language QA
- Proficiency in Hindi with high attention to detail in written and spoken form
- Ability to follow structured QC workflows while identifying improvement areas
- Confidence in managing volume and consistency in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with AI Subtitling tools
