MCaaS is looking for a hands-on Screening Analyst / Data Steward to join its growing team of
Compliance professionals to assemble and enhance master and reference datasets.
The role will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of our master data – carry out the dayto-
day activities with regards to counterparty due diligence, sanctions screening, bank account
verification, document verification, commodity screening and false positive reviews.
Job Responsibilities
• Create, validate, and maintain accurate and up-to-date information related to counterparties and customers
in our proprietary master data system.
• Carry out day-to-day activities with efficient planning and monitoring, while strictly complying with process
standards.
• Perform sanctions-screening, false positive review, and verification of documents and business rules.
• Monitor customer emails, document follow-up, tickets, and notifications, and take appropriate actions in
accordance with established SOPs.
• Ensure that all data-related and document management processes are being followed as per established
SOPs.
• Deliver high-quality output and ensure all creation and updates are completed within the agreed SLA.
• Analyze and research different sources of information, including conflicting data sources, to extract
meaningful, accurate, and reliable data.
• Work collaboratively within customer compliance, operations, and Marcura Legal teams to ensure all
screening requirements are met in the most appropriate manner.
• Ensure that key data elements of counterparties are of the highest possible quality to keep our master data
complete, up-to-date, and accurate.
Requirements
• Graduate degree holder (in Shipping, Banking or Commerce would be
desirable)
• Sanction screening or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) Compliance Training
• 3 years of Sanction Screening or KYC and EDD or Data Stewardship
experience
• Experience of remote working or collaborating virtually

Skills Required
- Graduate degree; a degree in Shipping, Banking, or Commerce is desirable
- Sanctions screening or Anti-Money Laundering compliance training
