● Built proprietary technology for weighment traceability, fleet ops, and inventory flow About the Role We are looking for a VP Finance / Head of Finance who can build strong finance processes, ensure compliance, improve financial controls, and help the company scale. You will work closely with the Founder and leadership team and be responsible for everything across finance, accounts, compliance, reporting, and investor-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Business Planning

● Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
● Track company performance, cash flow, and profitability
● Work with business teams to improve margins and control costs
● Prepare monthly MIS and business reports Accounting & Compliance
● Oversee accounting, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
● Ensure timely monthly and annual closures
● Manage audits and ensure all records are maintained properly
● Build processes and controls to reduce leakages and errors Investor Reporting & Fundraising
● Prepare investor updates, board reports, and MIS
● Support fundraising and due diligence processes
● Coordinate with auditors, legal teams, and consultants
● Maintain company data rooms and compliance documents Systems & Automation
● Improve finance processes through automation and technology
● Build dashboards and reporting systems
● Work closely with operations and tech teams to improve visibility and controls
What We're Looking For

● CA preferred
● 6-10 years of relevant experience
● Experience in startups, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, recycling, or similar businesses
● Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting
● Good with Excel, MIS, and finance systems
● Comfortable working in a fast-growing and hands-on environment

Skills Required

  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • 6-10 years relevant experience (startup, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, recycling preferred)
  • Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and MIS reporting
  • Proficiency with Excel and finance systems; ability to build dashboards and automate processes
  • Ability to manage audits, statutory filings, and maintain compliance records
