We're seeking a Scope Extension Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our Product Management team in Copenhagen with a starting date as early as possible and an end date of 31st December 2027.

What is the job?

  • You will report to the Head of Vendor Parts Satair Channel, and be at the heart of a highly competitive product line which drives the sales of an expanded portfolio of products across major platforms including Airbus and Boeing.
     

  • You will be supporting our strategic growth by translating data into actionable growth initiatives, identifying untapped market opportunities and converting high-potential leads. Your goal is to bridge the gap between market demand and our current offerings by identifying and onboarding suppliers to develop Satair’s competitiveness.
     

  • You will join a global, high performing and supportive team across Copenhagen, Germany, Singapore and the US. Supporting and coaching each other is embedded in the team’s culture and ways of working to share best practices and create powerful synergies.

 

Primary responsibilities

  • Proactively identify untapped business opportunities to expand the Vendor Parts portfolio by driving the qualification of high-potential suppliers, ensuring a continuous flow of new business opportunities into the portfolio pipeline.
     

  • Orchestrate and drumbeat the implementation of the new suppliers with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
     

  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective suppliers, and successfully navigate the initial partnership phase.
     

Travel

This role involves approximately 10 days of travel per year, mainly in Europe to visit suppliers, attend international fairs, and internal workshops.

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a B2B environment - a background in aviation is a significant advantage

  • A natural talent for communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Comfortable with juggling multiple topics simultaneously, involving several external and internal stakeholders
  • Enthusiastic team player who tackles challenges with a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach
  • As an international company, we operate in English, but additional language skills are always a welcome asset.
