Job Summary
The Supply Chain Planning Supervisor will lead end-to-end supply chain planning activities, including demand, supply, and inventory planning, as well as performance tracking and ERP/system optimization, and will report directly to the SCM Planning Team Manager.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a structured and process-driven approach, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and execution.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead end-to-end supply chain planning activities, including demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management
- Develop and execute planning strategies that balance service levels, cost, and operational efficiency
- Facilitate and manage the monthly Sales and Operations Planning process across cross-functional teams
- Analyze capacity utilization and identify bottlenecks or risks in the supply chain
- Track key supply chain KPIs such as s logistics cost, inventory days, returns, disposal, and stockouts
- Support ERP and supply chain system optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Working experience of relevant software (e.g., SAP WMS)
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail
- A strategic and analytical mind
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of SCM, Logistics, Purchasing experience
- Must have a deep knowledge of SCM or Logistics with a proven track record of managing inventory and trucking or warehouse
- Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Must be proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must thrive in a team environment, but be able to take initiative and work independently.
- Must be bilingual in Korean and English
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or purchasing
- Deep knowledge of supply chain management or logistics
- Proven experience managing inventory and trucking or warehouse operations
- Experience with relevant supply chain software, such as SAP WMS
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
