client, a world leader in biotechnology, is looking for a “Scientist II - Translational Pharmacokinetics & Pharmacodynamics (tPKPD)" based
out of South San Francisco, CA.
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $49/hr DOE

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with ligand-binding assays, including ELISA, and bioanalytical assay development. Experience operating and troubleshooting automated assay platforms is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative scientist with strong experimental, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Develop, optimize, and execute in vitro biochemical, ligand-binding, bioanalytical, and cell-based assays to support drug discovery and development programs.
- Perform and support the development of ELISA and other ligand-binding assays (LBA).
- Develop, optimize, and follow detailed assay protocols and experimental procedures.
- Generate high-quality, accurate, and reproducible experimental data.
- Develop and optimize automated assay workflows to improve laboratory efficiency and throughput.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated assay platforms and laboratory instrumentation.
- Perform cell culture maintenance, passaging, and cell-based assays, as required.
- BS or MS degree in Biological Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on assay development experience in an industry setting.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with ligand-binding assays and bioanalytical assay development.
- Strong experience with ELISA or similar immunoassay platforms.
- Experience developing, optimizing, and executing laboratory assays.
- Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting automated assay platforms or automated liquid-handling systems.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture, cell maintenance, and cell passaging.
- Experience performing cell-based assays.
- Experience with mass spectrometry, including LC-MS or LC-MS/MS.
- Experience with biomolecular interaction platforms such as Octet/BLI or Biacore/SPR.
