Key Responsibilities:Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Read, understand, and implement written SOPs.
- Perform work in accordance with daily production schedules to fulfill work orders and special requests.
- Handle and work with chemical powders.
- Operate various laboratory equipment such as automated liquid handlers, pipettes, Conductivity Portable meter, etc.
- Review data and recognize and report data inconsistencies.
- Train and assist colleagues on production tasks and procedures.
- Initiate reports and perform investigations related to nonconformances.
- Work within functional areas to tackle problems and develop solutions which address true root cause(s); transfer problem-solving and process improvement knowledge and proficiencies through all working relationships.
- Follow all safety requirements and communicate issues and concerns.
- Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field, Practical Engineer
- Able to work under high pace while demonstrating a ‘can do’ personality.
- Ability to write and revise basic SOPs and other common production documents.
- Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Frequently work at laboratory workstations, operating equipment, and computer workstations
- Some lifting of equipment including powders, liquid of 10 kg.
- Working conditions/physical requirements may change as the need arises.
