What you’ll do
Essential Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and conduct upstream cell culture project from lab scale process development to large scale production in 200L bioreactor or larger. Perform experimental activities with Wave /XDR /iCellis bioreactors and culture media to support the success of Cytiva cell culture business, including bioreactor and media. Analyze and evaluate the experimental data and results and report to customers; prepare scientific publications based on these data and results Prepare presentation material and present at scientific conference and/or in front of customers as needed. Deliver Fast Trak technical on-going cell culture related training courses with the same global standard to add the value of Cytiva products. Understand and satisfy the customers' training needs through in-class training and the follow-up actions after training. Support sales activities in house and/or at the customer sites. Able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time. Understand marketing trends to support sales department and customers with expert advice. Work closely with field application specialists and support customers by offering trouble-shoots, bioprocess development services and consulting.
Who you are
Master degree required and Ph.D. degree preferred. Has in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience in biopharmaceutical upstream processing including fermentation, cell culture and harvest. Good presentation and interpersonal skills, self-direction, people-oriented, proactive, good planning & execution skill, sense of responsibility, fast learner and team player. Good scientific writing and oral presentation skills. Customer focused, commercially aware. Fluent in English/Chinese (reading/speaking/writing) Good organizational skills. Good team work with team members and local commercial team.
