We are looking for someone responsible for developing real-time and batch risk models to screen online transactions and stop fraudulent ones.

Role Responsibilities

• Continuous track and evaluation of the effectiveness of risk models and rules
• Documentation and communication of model results and insights to senior staff in Risk Management.
• Analysis of online transaction activity to identify loss reduction opportunities and devise actionable plans to exploit such opportunities
• Profile customer behavior to identify opportunities to enhance model/rule performance
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis in response to internal and external analytic requests.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor´s degree in a quantitative-related field (Statistics, Math, Operations Research, Engineering, etc.)
• 1+ years of SQL programming experience.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Communication skills to convey fraud insight
• Experience analyzing problems and producing a justification to enhance fraud decisions.
• Working knowledge of Python. Other statistical analysis tools like R, Excel, etc.; is preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools like: Power BI, Tableau.
• Desired but not required: Experience on card purchases risk mitigation.
