Job DescriptionBryceTech is looking for a Scientific & Technical Information (STINFO) Program Management Analyst that manages AFWERX’s Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) program to ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force requirements for controlling and protecting research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) outputs. The role safeguards sensitive technical information while enabling information sharing in a high-velocity, innovation-driven environment. This position directly supports AFWERX's mission to accelerate innovative capabilities by managing the identification, review, and dissemination of STINFO products from research and acquisition programs.
STINFO Program Oversight:
- Serve as the designated representative managing the end-to-end STINFO lifecycle.
- Identify, review, and classify Scientific and Technical Information in accordance with DoDI 5230.24 and AFI 61-204.
- Ensure all STINFO is properly marked and disseminated based on classification and distribution requirements.
Publication and Disclosure Review:
- Review technical papers, presentations, white papers, data deliverables, and reports submitted by contractors, researchers, and internal personnel for releasability and proper distribution markings (e.g., CUI, FOUO, ITAR).
- Coordinate with Foreign Disclosure Officers (FDOs), Public Affairs (PA), and OPSEC teams to adjudicate releases of technical information.
Policy Compliance and Training:
- Develop and maintain STINFO program guidance, SOPs, and training for AFWERX personnel and stakeholders.
- Ensure awareness of and compliance with distribution statements (e.g., A through F), export controls, and intellectual property protection.
- Conduct training sessions and serve as a resource for program managers and performers regarding STINFO processes.
Coordination and Recordkeeping:
- Track and manage STINFO submissions, approvals, and historical records in accordance with Air Force and DoD records management standards.
- Liaise with AFRL/STINFO offices, SAF/AQ, SAF/AAZ, and other DoD stakeholders to harmonize STINFO review and documentation.
Innovation Environment Integration:
- Tailor STINFO review processes to support AFWERX’s use of non-traditional partners, SBIR/STTR awards, and dual-use technologies.
- Develop scalable workflows for timely review of high volumes of technical output from agile acquisition projects.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree
Experience Requirements:
- Active Secret security clearance
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of DoDI 5230.24, AFI 61-204, and other STINFO and information security policies.
- Experience managing or supporting STINFO, public release, or scientific publication review processes.
- Familiarity with classification guidance, export control regulations (ITAR/EAR), and distribution statement application.
- Ability to analyze complex technical documents for controlled content and security considerations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific, technical, security, or public policy-related field.
- Experience in DoD research, technology development, or innovation programs (e.g., SBIR/STTR, OTAs).
- Knowledge of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling and marking requirements.
- Familiarity with AFRL, SAF/AQ, or similar defense acquisition/research environments.
Must possess an Active Secret security clearance.
