About the role

Navitas is looking for an innovative and student-centric Schools Engagement Officer who is passionate about student engagement and building strong relationships with international high schools. The role will focus on developing and implementing outreach strategies, promoting the Navitas pathway model, and driving student enrolments across the assigned region. The successful candidate will support on-ground recruitment activities including counsellor training, events, lead conversion, and targeted promotional initiatives in collaboration with the GSM team.


Key Responsibilities

1. Schools Account Management

  • Operate as a point of contact for matters specific to schools within remit, escalating items as required to the Schools Engagement Manager
  • Utilise a CRM to record communication & activity with school partners & monitor student applications
  • Effectively manage customer relationships with pro-active, regular and structured communication and implementation processes
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, and trusted relationships with Schools and which result in student enrolments for Navitas University Pathways

2. Business Development

  • Proactively seek out partnerships with Schools and School related organizations & Associations who seek to enrol students in higher education, to drive business to Navitas University Pathway programs
  • Respond to and follow up with enquiries from students & high school counsellors utilizing appropriate internal processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the identification, and growth opportunities through collaboration with other Business Unit and stakeholders.
  • Assist with the monitoring and reporting on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.

3. Industry Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant industry stakeholders to create internship and student engagement opportunities
  • Represent Navitas at networking events and industry engagement activities to strengthen external partnerships and brand presence
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing teams to develop impactful external-facing promotional and engagement materials

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Passionate about helping students achieve their full potential, regardless of their academic background
  • Experience working with high school students or counsellors in an advising or sales-oriented role
  • Strong numerical literacy and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with business-level proficiency in written and spoken English
  • A collaborative team player who takes ownership of decisions and outcomes
  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends to support local and international recruitment activities
  • Ability to achieve targets within defined timelines while managing changing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with qualifications in Business, Marketing, or Communications highly regarded
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
