SUMMARY:
CCRES is seeking a caring and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide health services to students in school settings. Working under the supervision of a Certified School Nurse, the LPN supports student health, safety, and access to education.
- The daily rate for a School Nurse - LPN is $200 per day
- Location: Susquenita School District
- Schedule: 7:30am to 2:50pm -- 7.5 paid hours per day (on full school day)
- Follow student academic calendar year
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document student health status and nursing services provided
- Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and emergencies
- Assist with the implementation of Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs), 504 Plans, and IEP-related health services
- Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records
- Support health screenings, immunization compliance, and other school health initiatives
- Collaborate with educational teams to support student success

Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
CREDENTIALING :
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI Clearance
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
- Valid PA License as a Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Professional Liability Insurance ($1-3 million coverage)
