Responsibilities
- Schedules and acts as on campus support for any off-campus groups or individuals using music facilities.
- Schedules all performances and events for students, faculty, and other parties into the EMS Scheduling System and ensures access to scheduled spaces.
- Communicates with all external entities such as caterers, vendors, community partners, guest artists, and officials for assigned events and operation needs. Communicates all event needs to other operations staff to ensure appropriate staffing and services.
- Oversees inventory of rental and event items such as tables, chairs, linens, etc.; coordinates the use of restoration and storage of items and spaces utilized by both internal and external events.
- In coordination with the AD of Operations, oversees the interviewing, hiring, and training of part-time event staff and student employees; planning, assigning, and directing employee work; establishes work schedules and determines work assignments; communicates and carries out disciplinary action as needed.
- At the discretion of the Ad of Operations, creates, reviews and implements changes to policies regarding scheduling, rental and use of facilities, and student work assignments.
Performs other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree
- Two (2) year of experience.
- Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
