What You'll Do
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for children.
  • Lead fun activities including games, arts & crafts, STEM projects, sports, and outdoor play.
  • Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate programming.
  • Supervise children during daily activities, field trips, and special events.
  • Encourage positive behavior and model the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
  • Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized program space.
  • Complete attendance, incident reports, and other required documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Site Coordinator and fellow staff members.
  • Attend staff meetings and required professional development trainings.
