What You'll Do- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for children.
- Lead fun activities including games, arts & crafts, STEM projects, sports, and outdoor play.
- Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate programming.
- Supervise children during daily activities, field trips, and special events.
- Encourage positive behavior and model the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized program space.
- Complete attendance, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the Site Coordinator and fellow staff members.
- Attend staff meetings and required professional development trainings.
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and positive team players.
- Passion for working with school-age children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to create a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment.
- Commitment to child safety and following YMCA policies and state licensing regulations.
