The role
As a Field Engineer Scheduling Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient deployment of our video telematics solutions across projects in the UK, and Ireland.
You will be responsible for managing resources, coordinating supplier relationships, handling completion administration, processing charges, and raising purchase orders. You will also communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure requirements are met effectively and service delivery runs smoothly.
This is an on-site position, located at our Waterford office at ArcLabs Research & Innovations Centre, SETU West Campus, Carriganore, Waterford.
What you'll do
Coordinate and schedule field engineers for installations, maintenance visits, and service activities, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support successful project delivery.
Act as a key point of contact for customers, arranging appointments, providing updates, resolving scheduling issues, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to support the timely delivery of equipment, services, and projects.
Communicate effectively with field engineers, providing job details, customer requirements, and confirming successful completion of work.
Collaborate with teams across customer support, sales, technical, and operational departments to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
Manage completion documentation, maintain accurate operational records, process charges, and raise purchase orders in line with company procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, operational efficiency, and the overall customer journey.
Stay informed about industry developments, best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Support the wider team with additional duties and projects as required.
What we’re looking for
Previous experience in scheduling, resource planning, project coordination, or a similar operational role, ideally within a technology, engineering, or service delivery environment.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Comfortable building relationships with customers, suppliers, engineers, and internal stakeholders at all levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook, with experience using scheduling or workforce management systems.
A proactive problem-solver who can adapt quickly and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of geographic regions across the UK, and Ireland would be beneficial.
PRINCE2 or another project management qualification would be an advantage, although not essential.
