The Opportunity
The Scheduling Manager plays a critical role in managing and maintaining course schedules across multiple modalities, including face-to-face (F2F), EagleVision Classroom (EVC), EagleVision Home (EVH), and online. This position ensures that schedules align with institutional goals, student demand, and faculty availability. Collaborating closely with academic departments and the Student Success Operations team, particularly Site Directors, the Scheduling Manager optimizes resource utilization and resolves scheduling conflicts. Additionally, this role oversees adjunct faculty scheduling, contract management, and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to academic timelines. The Scheduling Manager’s focus on data-driven decisions and problem-solving is essential for maintaining scheduling efficiency and supporting the institution's academic mission.
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000, with a starting salary expectation around $43,000. The final offer will consider the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, along with applicable state regulations, internal equity, and business needs.
Scheduling Management
- Create, organize, and maintain schedules for all course modalities, including face-to-face (F2F), online, EagleVision Classroom (EVC), and EagleVision Home (EVH), ensuring maximum utilization of resources and scheduling accuracy.
- Review various reports to identify scheduling discrepancies, correct errors prior to student enrollment, manage class cancellations, and implement dispersal solutions.
- Resolve scheduling issues based on established guidelines to ensure efficient and error-free scheduling across all platforms and campuses.
Department and Adjunct Coordinator
- Collaborate with academic departments and campus administration to assign and schedule academic courses, ensuring alignment with department needs and faculty availability.
- Collaborate with the Student Success Operations team, specifically Site Directors for all EagleVision Classroom (EVC) and face-to-face (F2F) course offerings, to ensure that course schedules align with the needs of the student body, available faculty, and classroom space, whether physical or virtual.
- Manage and coordinate adjunct faculty schedules, including course assignments, and promptly communicate any changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that course offerings reflect the demand across multiple modalities and campuses, adjusting schedules as needed to accommodate last-minute changes in enrollment or faculty availability.
Adherence to Scheduling Timelines
- Ensure compliance with the academic schedule development timeline and assist with all scheduling processes.
- Manage and implement contract invites for adjunct instructors, ensuring contracts are processed accurately and promptly.
- Handle faculty and adjunct payroll responsibilities, ensuring timely and accurate compensation.
Communication of Scheduling Discrepancies
- Identify and communicate scheduling discrepancies to academic departments, escalating unresolved issues to Academic Scheduling Coordinators as needed.
- Collaborate with departments to resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure accurate course section offerings across modalities and campuses.
Institutional Collaboration
- Liaise between the Academic Affairs Department, Instructional Design, Colleges, and other institutional areas to ensure accurate and conflict-free course scheduling
- Work closely with relevant institutional departments to optimize the use of campus facilities and EVC resources, resolving any conflicts in room availability or course timing.

Required Education and Qualifications: Associate's degree or completion of program of 18+ months after high school.
