Essential Job Functions
Scheduling and Data Coordinator
- Ensure production data is entered in a timely, accurate, and complete manner.
- Develop, maintain, and update daily production schedules.
- Monitor production progress and proactively adjust schedules to meet delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments, including the Pattern Shop, Shipping, Quality, Customer Service, and other operational teams, to promote efficient workflow and clear communication.
- Conduct monthly inventory cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate and schedule truck pickups, deliveries, and loads.
- Ensure products are ready for scheduled shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, weights, and other shipment information is accurate
- Weigh boxes, containers, pallets, and other materials and maintain accurate shipping information and documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong skills in organization, communication, and time-management, with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform hands-on shipping duties, including weighing materials and assisting with loading and unloading trucks.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate applicable material-handling equipment, such as a forklift or pallet jack.
- Ability to follow established procedures and safety requirements.
- Experience in production scheduling, production control, shipping, logistics, inventory control, data entry, or manufacturing.
- Experience with SyteLine or another ERP system.
- Experience coordinating freight, carriers, or logistics.
- Primarily office-based with regular interaction in manufacturing, shipping, warehouse, and operational areas.
- Work may occur in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, and outdoor environments.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull as necessary to perform essential functions.
- Ability to handle boxes, packages, pallets, and shipping materials and assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Must follow all required PPE and safety procedures.
