Job Summary: The Scheduling coordinator will be responsible for the scheduling of all outpatient surgical procedures for the outpatient orthopedic office. The Scheduling coordinator will schedule all pre-operative and post operative appointments. The Scheduling coordinator will work closely with the office manager of our surgical scheduling team.
Regulatory Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience as surgery scheduler.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Additional languages desirable.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to type minimum of 40 wpm.
- Knowledgeable in skills of patient/guest relations.
