- Coordinate and adjust schedules based on coverage needs, availability, and scheduling rules
- Audit schedules and timecards for accuracy and make necessary corrections
- Compile reports and scheduling statistics as requested
- Maintain ongoing communication with team members and leaders
- Communicate clearly and professionally across all levels of the organization
- Support interdisciplinary teamwork and contribute to shared goals
- Build and maintain positive working relationships that support service excellence
- Participate in day-to-day operational activities relevant to the role
- Follow established processes, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and escalate issues, risks, or service gaps as appropriate
- Ensure work is completed in compliance with organizational policies and relevant legislation or standards
- Maintain accuracy, documentation, and accountability in all responsibilities
- Support audits, reporting, inspections, or evaluations as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement of quality and safety practices
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, or service delivery
- Participate in improvement initiatives, projects, or working groups
- Support adoption of new tools, systems, or best practices (including technology where applicable)

Our total compensation package includes:
- Minimum Grade 12 Education
- At least 2 years of scheduling experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Experience interpreting and applying collective agreements
- Typing speed of 50 wpm
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication, organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Our total compensation package includes:
- Competitive salary of $30.28 per hour
- Employer paid extended health and dental benefits
- Generous vacation entitlement, with four weeks’ vacation to start

Skills Required
