Scheduler

Pay Rate $17-19/hr

Works Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

Work closely with our transportation team, and customers, to schedule, process, and ship cold storage warehouse orders for food products.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedule daily orders for warehouse staff to select
• Verify accuracy of all scheduled orders
• Communicate special requests made by carriers to the operations team
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight deliveries
• Report order scheduling issues to customer service
• Utilize Excel and Salesforce to track customer shipping fees and bill carriers
• Create shipping labels for FedEx orders

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 1 year warehouse, manufacturing or transportation environment experience
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
• Ability to understand instructions in Country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Basic math skills
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to function in a fast paced, highly visible, and changing environment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
