Meadowview of Clive has a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Scheduler / Staffer to join our team. Meadowview of Clive is a 106-unit senior care community consisting of independent living, assisted living, and memory care options. This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position. The wage is $24 - $26 per hour.
Scheduler/Staffer responsibilities:
- Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
- Provide clerical support to nursing management.
- Interview and hire candidates for open nursing positions.
- Conduct reference checks and background checks for potential employees.
- Track continuing educational programs for staff.
- Create training plans for caregiving staff to give optimized care to residents.
- Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
- Track attendance and complete disciplinary action forms.
- Complete payroll and manage time clock errors.
- Training caregivers per Cassia standards
- Order and distribute nursing supplies in a cost effective manner.
- Provide break coverage or shift coverage as needed.
Scheduler/Staffer skills and requirements:
- 1-2+ years of prior staffing/scheduling experience required.
- 6+ months of caregiving experience required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Excellent customer service skills.
