We're Hiring: Scheduler with Rheumatology Experience
Location: UCF Health Lake Nona
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm No Weekends
Preferred -- Experience in Rheumatology

We’re looking for a Scheduler with Rheumatology experience to join our team and support our mission of improving lives through exceptional service.

What You'll Do
Patients – Administrative functions
- Schedules patient appointments via phone call, online appointment request and reschedules appointments due to template changes.
- Registers patient appointments and verifies insurance. Obtains insurance information does not verify insurance.
- Refers or triages patients to appropriate nursing staff.
- Adheres to HIPAA guidelines/regulations/annual HIPAA training.
- Receives communication from patients via the patient portal regarding appointment changes that are needed and to update demographic information.
Schedules patients for testing procedures.
- Determines appropriate time/types of appointments and procedures.
- Assists with internal referrals to schedule appointment.
- Sends documentation to appropriate parties regarding patient care.
What We're Looking For
- Education: A high school education or GED
- Experience: One to three years of similar or related healthcare experience in Rheumatology
- Skills: Sound knowledge of medical terminology and billing, Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Tech-savvy: Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet computer skills, eCW a plus
- Attitude: Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented

Skills Required

It provides comprehensive primary and specialty healthcare services to the general public in East Orlando and Lake Nona, Florida.
