We are seeking a full-time Medical Records Clerk to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, processing medical record requests, and providing administrative support to patients, families, and care team members.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Processes documents according to procedures
2) Maintains confidentiality of patient health information
3) Scans all correspondence, lab, and x-ray reports into correct patient EHR, under correct tab, assuring that necessary signatures appear on documents
4) Follow the workflow to scan various other records, lab detail and other correspondences
5) Meets the productivity standards for medical charts based on the amount of scanned documents per week vs. number of charts scanned
6) Ability to work in conjunction with each other to ensure that the medical projects are being completed concurrently
7) Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-2 years experience in the medical or customer service field preferred.

It provides board-certified pediatric care through offices in Palm Harbor, Trinity, Westchase, and Lutz, functioning as a convenient medical home for families. Services include routine and sick-child visits, after-hours and weekend appointments, telehealth, patient-portal communication, and parent education on health, wellness, and safety.
