Main Purpose of the Role:
The individual will work in the Regional Logistics Department and report to the Regional Logistics Repositioning Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the different scale in/out processes within A3 (Offhire, onhire, sale, sublease, misuse, lost/stolen).
Main Tasks:
- Manage and track flagged for offhire and sale containers in and arriving to A3
- Contact leasing companies for redelivery details and update e-container and excel files
- Send sale reports to potential buyers and respond as required to purchase offers.
- Track Offhire containers to ensure Offhire complete.
- Track Container sales to ensure payment received, unit picked up and system updated accordingly. Follow up to ensure SAP billing is completed.
- Follow up on OICF and available containers to ensure they are offhired and do not sit idle, and ensure OFHR is updated in AgenTeam.
- Manage TLST stock, sell TLST that can be sold, and follow up with MNR on those that are 3rd party salvage.
- Monitor and track the survey, onhire, and dispatch of One Way deals originating at A3 while ensuring systems are updated
- Confirm availability of equipment, issue release, and oversee the pickup while ensuring systems are updated
- Gather all details relating to misuse/foreign container, ensure proper billing of responsible party, ensure systems are updated, and all necessary parties are notified
- Receive and review all details presented by country offices to determine if container should be declared as LOST/Stolen, present case to HO HFA for receipt of DRV, bill responsible party, ensure systems are updated
• Academic education: Bachelor Degree
• Certification: N/A
• Experience: 2-4 years related experience.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel & Outlook.
• Experience in Container Shipping industry (a plus).
