The OSL Site Coordinator is responsible for assisting the SBS Director with the delivery of after school programming for middle school or grade school youth. Hours are usually 3 to 6 p.m. five days a week. Works with the Director on all aspects of programming and is capable and willing to step into that role when needed. Assists Director to enroll clients, ensure that activities are implemented in an effective and structured manner, plan field trips and Family Nights, manage and complete administrative tasks. Assists Director in researching and identifying interests, needs, abilities and developmental levels of youth in order to develop and deliver daily direct service in the after school program, including mentoring, helping with homework, leading engaging group activities that reflect the academic needs from school day learning and cultural diversity.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or closely related field or equivalent experience working with youth.
