Minimum Qualification: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Current knowledge of all laws, rules and regulations pertaining to business/SBA lending and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively under deadlines and stress.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of financial institution business services including lending methods and services.
- Knowledge of asset, liabilities, credit dynamics in a business services lending environment.
- Skill in the operation of a personal computer and word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software and Intra/Internet access.
- Analytical skills in credit administration.
- Ability to analyze problems and opportunities, identify and evaluate alternatives, and develop sound, effective approaches.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within commercial lending.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people, including vendors and other Credit Union employees.
- Ability to act independently and confidentially, using discretion and tact.
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
Skills Required
- Minimum of four years of experience in SBA and/or business lending
- Current knowledge of laws, rules and regulations pertaining to business/SBA lending and compliance
- Ability to analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports and make credit risk recommendations
- Analytical skills in credit administration and ability to evaluate portfolio risk
- Knowledge of SBA 7(a) and 504 program eligibility requirements
- Knowledge of financial institution business services, lending methods, asset/liability and credit dynamics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skill in operation of a personal computer and word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software and Intra/Internet access
