JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Obtains work order to determine parts to be processed • Setup, calibrate and changeover machine to print specifications • Feeds wood stock through machine to create specified parts • Monitor machine for proper cutting, drilling, etc. • Repair/remove jams if materials or machine malfunctions • Quality checks parts per WSC VSWI control plan • Reads WSC parts prints, tape measure, caliper, and depth gauges to check specifications • Counts and record part quantities; completes timesheets • Records production tickets to verify work order • Moves finished parts to storage location • Perform Daily/Weekly preventative maintenance tasks • Certified and trained on proper LO/TO procedures. • Follows health and safety standards • Maintains a clean workplace following 5S standards • Performs other tasks as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties • Basic computer skills • Ability to read WSC parts prints, tape measure, caliper, and depth gauges • Mechanical knowledge is preferred to help troubleshoot problems. • Must have the ability to work with computerized equipment. • PIV License as needed • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
