JOB DETAILS
Base Pay: $16.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday (weekends as needed based on business need)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate hand tools as required AND Assemble, lift, pick and pack products
- Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities
- Follow defined clean-up times
- Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies
- Must follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and Standardized
- Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for Customers
- Identify problems; communicate issues
- Assist with training co-workers
- Support a respectful workplace
- Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on an aluminum or straight Saw.
- Proven knowledge of Quality Awareness, attention to details & no defect forward
- Ability to read tape measure including fractions.
- Ability to Convert the fractions to decimal and percent equivalents.
- Proven knowledge of cycle time
- Proficient & fast on computer…open file, batch schedule, keyboard.
- Ability to consistently lift at least 50lbs 8 to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and stand 8 to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to read/write in English and basic math skills.
