Part-Time Weekend Receptionist

Salary: £29,300 per annum (pro rata)
Permanent : Part-Time: Saturday’s only: 07:30 am to 16:00

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative team where you'll help deliver exceptional service whilst supporting the day-to-day operations of our health centre.
What you'll do
As an Administrator, you'll be responsible for providing outstanding reception and administrative support while ensuring the smooth running of the centre. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and welcoming customers and supporting them throughout their visit.
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Booking, amending, and rescheduling appointments using internal systems.
- Processing payments, invoices, and administrative documentation accurately.
- Preparing appointment paperwork and clinical files where required.
- Managing customer reports and ensuring they are issued within agreed timescales.
- Supporting results management, including scanning, uploading, and tracking documentation.
- Maintaining a professional, safe, and welcoming reception and waiting area.
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies when required.
- Supporting the wider clinical and operational teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and clinical governance requirements.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- The ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working as part of a team.
- GCSEs (or equivalent).
- A flexible and proactive approach to work.
Desirable:
- Audio typing experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Previous experience within a healthcare, clinical, or customer service environment.
