As a Satellite Ground Segment Infrastructure Responsible (d/m/f) for space ground segments, you will be part of a team based in Friedrichshafen supporting our integrated nation space mission project teams. Beside these operational activities, you will contribute to our transformation plan that has the vision to become national champion for high-performance Ground-Space Mission Solutions.

Tasks:
You will be in charge of the following main activities:
- Responsible for design and integration of hardware infrastructure
- Integration of cloud platforms for ground segments
- Handling of subsystems related to the ground segment infrastructure
- Support proposals and new technologies (e.g. AI) for neo ground segments
Required skills:
You have the experience and the following skills:
- Degree in computer science or comparable
- Experience with software development/engineering (Agile development, Linux-Environments, DevOps, Cloud platform like Kubernetes)
- Infrastructure design and integration
- Work knowledge of hardware and datacenter
- Experience with Kubernetes platforms (like Rancher or OpenShift) would be a plus
- Good communication and team skills
- Fluency in German & English

Aufgaben:
Sie sind für die folgenden Haupttätigkeiten zuständig:
- Verantwortung für das Design und die Integration der Hardware Infrastruktur für das Bodensegment
- Integration von Cloud-Plattformen ins Bodensegment
- Handhabung aller Bodensegment Subsysteme bzgl. der Infrastruktur
- Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Angeboten und neuen Technologien (z.B. KI) von zukünftigen Bodensegmenten
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten:
Sie verfügen über Erfahrung und die folgenden Fähigkeiten:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder vergleichbar
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung (Agile Entwicklung, Linux-Umgebungen, DevOps, Cloud-Plattform wie Kubernetes)
- Infrastruktur Design und Integration
- Arbeit mit Hardware und Datenzentren
