Job description:

As Satellite Ground Segment Application Software Responsible (d/m/f) for space ground segments, you will be part of a team based in Friedrichshafen supporting our integrated nation space mission project teams. Beside these operational activities, you will contribute to our transformation plan that has the vision to become national champion for high-performance Ground-Space Mission Solutions.

Tasks:

You will be in charge of the design and development of cloud-based ground segment applications:

• Responsible for engineering and architecture of ground segment applications (like missions planning and mission control)
• Implementation of ground segment applications
• Cloud-based deployment and integration of the ground segment applications
• Support the ground segment transformation with AI based applications

Required skills:

You have the experience and the following skills:

• Degree in computer science or comparable

• Java (Java EE would be a plus) development experience
• Experience with software development (Agile development, Linux-Environments, DevOps, Cloud platform like Kubernetes)
• Good communication and team skills
• Fluency in German & English

Neben diesen operativen Tätigkeiten werden Sie zu unserem Transformationsplan beitragen, der die Vision hat, nationaler Champion für hochleistungsfähige Boden-Raumfahrt-Missionslösungen zu werden.

Aufgaben:

Sie werden für den Entwurf und die Entwicklung von cloudbasierten Anwendungen für das Grundsegment verantwortlich sein:

• Verantwortlich für das Design und die Architektur von Bodensegmentanwendungen (wie Missionsplanung und Missionskontrolle)
• Entwicklung der Bodensegmentanwendungen
• Cloudbasierte Bereitstellung und Integration der Bodensegmentanwendungen
• Unterstützung der Transformation des Bodensegment mit KI-basierten Anwendungen

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten:

Sie habe die Erfahrung und die folgenden Fähigkeiten:

• Abschluss in Informatik oder vergleichbar
• Erfahrung in der Java-Entwicklung (Java EE wäre ein Plus)
• Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung (Agile Entwicklung, Linux-Umgebungen, DevOps, Cloud-Plattformen wie Kubernetes)
• Gute Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeiten
• Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch
