Job Objectives

In this position you will act as the critical link between the Satair business in Singapore and China and the rest of the Digital organisation in relation to SAP projects and operational support.

You will be part of the SAP Warehouse support team in Satair (red channel) with special focus on the support to the warehouses in Singapore and China including the implementation of Autostore in Singapore and setting up a new warehouse in China.

You will be the main SAP contact point in Singapore in case of critical operational situations.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the local project lead for SAP application related projects (i.e. Autostore implementation in Singapore, EWM global implementation and setting up a new warehouse in China)

• Define and set up new functionality in Satair’s SAP application landscape mainly within the logistic area

• Serve as the main SAP contact point in Singapore, coordinating across business and IT

• Coordinate technical issues and improvement with the global digital organisation and with the business representatives 

• Observing current market trends and technologies, proposing those trends to the business that add value to logistics solutions.

• Provide expertise in the areas of SAP ERP WM and SAP EWM.

• Work closely with the project team to ensure successful implementation of Autostore, SAP EWM and other and new integrated warehouse technologies.

• Conduct workshops and training sessions for Trainers / end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new SAP EWM system.  

• Support the business organisation with SAP support and expertise

• Act as a facilitator between Singapore/China operations and the global IT organisation, ensuring alignment, knowledge sharing, and transparency. ​

​Job Requirements

• Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Business Information Systems or equivalent

• Minimally 3 years of experience in warehousing/logistics applications support

• Possess experience and skills in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)

• Knowledge/experience in other SAP modules (e.g. Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI)/Controlling (CO)) would be advantageous

• Knowledge on Autostore or similar warehouse technologies would be advantageous

• Ability to see the bigger picture and derive mid- to long term recommendations on the way forward

• Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills

• Diplomatic sense and open/‘out-of-silo’ mind-set plus ability to build successful relations across functions and with all stakeholders (internal and external)

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex digital topics into “normal” business language
