Job Description

We are seeking a TMS Application Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of Transportation Management System (TMS) applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and alignment with business needs. This role requires a strong technical background in SAP, application management, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to analyze and propose solutions for business requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage system configurations, integrations, and technical enhancements across multiple TMS components and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of TMS applications, from design and implementation to upgrades, replacements, and governance.

  • Provide technical solutions for business requirements, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.

  • Analyze transportation management processes and technical components, identifying areas for optimization.

  • Oversee troubleshooting and system configurations, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

  • Govern coding and testing standards, ensuring compliance with best practices.

  • Maintain technical and functional documentation, including design specifications and testing results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business owners, product managers, architects, software developers, and vendors.

Job Qualifications

Top Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with SAP, including troubleshooting and configurations.

  • Strong application management (lifecycle) knowledge.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving system requirements.

Nice to Have:

  • SAP Knowledge in Transportation Management, Sales & Distribution (SD), and Finance (FI) is a plus.

  • Experience with JIRA, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Basic knowledge of Python or ABAP.

  • Project management experience.

  • Understanding of supply chain processes.
