Job Description
We are seeking a TMS Application Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of Transportation Management System (TMS) applications, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and alignment with business needs. This role requires a strong technical background in SAP, application management, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to analyze and propose solutions for business requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage system configurations, integrations, and technical enhancements across multiple TMS components and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of TMS applications, from design and implementation to upgrades, replacements, and governance.

Provide technical solutions for business requirements, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.

Analyze transportation management processes and technical components, identifying areas for optimization.

Oversee troubleshooting and system configurations, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Govern coding and testing standards, ensuring compliance with best practices.

Maintain technical and functional documentation, including design specifications and testing results.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business owners, product managers, architects, software developers, and vendors.
Job Qualifications
Top Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience working with SAP, including troubleshooting and configurations.

Strong application management (lifecycle) knowledge.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving system requirements.
Nice to Have:
-
SAP Knowledge in Transportation Management, Sales & Distribution (SD), and Finance (FI) is a plus.

Experience with JIRA, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
-
Basic knowledge of Python or ABAP.
-
Project management experience.

Understanding of supply chain processes.
