Responsibilities:
To be successful in this role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:
- Implement and maintain existing Test Strategies, Standards, and plans to support software releases.
- Define test processes and create comprehensive Test Plans, for smoke and regression testing phases based on the Test Management Standard.
- Collaborate with the Release Manager to plan and execute software releases, focusing on smoke and regression testing phases.
- Conduct risk assessments related to software testing and release processes and plans, respectively.
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, including phased testing approaches.
- Manage test data and test environments.
- Lead test execution, monitor progress, triage defects, and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Generate and distribute test summary reports.
- Align with ITSM and the Change Management process for raised issues.
- Engage with business teams and stakeholders to understand release requirements and ensure testing aligns with business objectives and timelines while co-ordinating different testing phases

Required Skills and Expertise:
- Overall, 6+ years of experience in Software Testing and Testing Management.
- Experience as a Testing Team Lead or Quality Assurance Lead.
- Proficient in software quality assurance methodologies, agile testing frameworks, and practices.
- Familiarity with setting up and enhancing testing phases within agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of STLC and SDLC, including release and test cycles.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English) with strong stakeholder management for interacting with testers, developers, project stakeholders, and business teams.
- Ability to accurately evaluate and report test results, progress, and product quality.
- Systematic problem-solving approach with an ability to make informed decisions.
