Job Description

We are seeking for a very knowledgeable and experienced SAP development specialist, who can assist enhancing and safeguarding SIKA global template solutions. Strong communication skills and bold personality are required to discuss with various stakeholders about technical solutions in different levels (functional, business, management as well as with other technical teams). The following activities and experience is expected:

• Supporting a large and complex landscape consisting of various SAP systems, such as S/4 HANA, TM, EWM, GTS, Solution Manager, and others
• Ability to manage technical projects and coordinate technical activities among various team members
• Strong analytical skills and ability to develop a strategy in the field of development. Define roadmap of technical solutions, including technical rollout strategy in close collaboration to the functional teams and SAP Technology leadership
• Exposure to application development and support to cloud applications in Business Technology Platform
• Realization and support to SAP rollouts, integration and upgrade projects
• ABAP development with focus on reports, enhancements, BADIs, user exits, BAPIs and RFCs; ABAP objects, IDOC programming and Adobe Forms
• Requirements analysis and solution design for various SAP modules such as OTC, STP, WM, FIN and other
• Well versed in operations and AMS support, ability to coordinate different priorities in the field of operations, including incidentes, change requests and service requests
• Support and development on SAP cloud products such as Ariba, Sales Cloud and others

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years proven experience in the field of SAP development
• Studies in business informatics, information technologies or Engineering & Computer Sciences
• Expert in the following topics: ABAP, ABAP OO, report and dialog development, form development (Smart-forms, Adobe Forms)
• Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies is required: UI5, CDS views, WebDynpro ABAP, EDI / IDoc, ABAP Proxy, oData, Web Services, Workflow, MDG, BOPF, EWM, Business Technology Platform
• Working in a global environment and with global distributed teams
• Willingness to travel and learn new technologies.
• Interested in new technologies such as SAP Cloud Platform and edge technologies, still with a effective hands on participation on other areas of responsibility
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Fluent in German would be of great advantage
