You will provide expert consultation for a specific software or application, leading on issues and resolutions, optimizing service delivery to meet business demands and the service operations strategy. To excel in this role, you will recommend steps to optimize investments and benefits and to mitigate risks for a specific application. In addition, you will identify suppliers, evaluate them, on-board new vendors, and oversee them, work with project resources to provide design collateral and to configure software components that are aligned with security policy and governance, ensure adherence configuration standards and processes, and share your knowledge of the technology with relevant stakeholders.

Purpose of role
This role will perform a dual role. They will have a specialization that links to the governance and will be linked to key aspects i.e., BI, HANA, Rev-Trac, Archiving, Optimization, Solution Manager. On the project delivery side, the role will also assist on major projects to provide addition Basis support. The team will also be responsible for optimizing the environment and ensuring that we use the right tools i.e., single sign on. The optimization specialization will be to make sure that we get the most out of our environment both at a performance and cost perspective.
Roles & Responsibilities
- You will play a critical role in the implementations of major projects in the SAP landscapes.
- Create and Execute Ramp Down/Up Plans, Technical Health Check Plans.
- Develop a technical plan for the Core non-production builds, refreshes and cutovers.
- Executing overall release plan & Management of the project defects.
- Ensure partners are engaged and managing the expectations and deliverables.
- Review hardware requirements for the implementation of projects with the Global SAP Capacity Lead.
- Coordinate/execute with SAP on Max Attention service for project delivery.
- Review and validation of Installations, migrations, upgrades, of operating systems, databases and SAP environments.
- Technical analysis to understand the implications of SAP notes and involve the necessary teams to understand impact.
- Technical analysis of the project changes against the productions SAP environments.
- Validate the backup restore, high availability, database, and rollback scenarios.
- Perform system installations, upgrades, and patching of SAP systems, including EC, BW, APO, EWM and other relevant systems.
- Review and troubleshoot technical challenges as part of the technical upgrades.
- Monitor system performance, analyze system logs, and implement performance tuning measures to optimize system response times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and configure the SAP system landscape, including system architecture, system profiles, transport management, and system monitoring.
- SAP and/or AWS/Microsoft Azure certification is a plus.

• 10+ years of experience for SAP support work including enhancements and projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Must be able to work in a multicultural Global environment.
• Proven experience of SAP Basis admin, system installs, upgrades, & support of SAP systems in Azure with MSSQL & AWS with HANA
• In-depth knowledge of SAP system landscapes, system profiles, transport mgmt., and system monitoring.
• Proficiency in SAP system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization Experience with SAP HANA, S/4, Java & middleware systems such as PO.
• Familiarity with SAP system integration and interfaces using IDocs, RFCs, and web services.
• Experience in SAP user management, security administration, and authorization concepts a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
• Strong communication / interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all org levels.
• Strong drive for self-development & progression.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is (USD 133,900.00-184,150.00); the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
