About the Role
NRI is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Consultant, ABAP & Integration Specialist to join our Platform, Enterprise Applications team, part of NRI’s Managed Services group.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on SAP ECC development and enterprise integration, covering the design, development, enhancement and ongoing support of SAP applications and interfaces across both SAP and non-SAP platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, enhance and support SAP ECC solutions using ABAP
- Develop reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, APIs and application extensions
- Design and support integrations between SAP, cloud platforms, middleware and external enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE, Web Services, REST APIs and file-based integrations
- Develop ABAP objects including programs, function modules, classes, User Exits, BAdIs, SmartForms and Adobe Forms
- Troubleshoot application defects, interface failures and data processing issues
- Support technical design, testing, transports, releases and production deployments
- Work closely with SAP functional, Basis, Security, Infrastructure and business teams
- Support Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management within an ITIL environmentv

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years' SAP ECC ABAP development experience
- Strong SAP interface and integration experience
- Strong experience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, ALE, SOAP Web Services, REST APIs and file-based integrations
- Strong SAP enhancement experience including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs and Enhancement Framework
- Experience developing reports, interfaces, workflows, forms and batch processing solutions
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability
- Experience supporting complex enterprise SAP environments
- Experience working within ITIL Managed Services
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Exposure to SAP Integration Suite/CPI/BTP, Fiori, Gateway, OData, MuleSoft or SAP BW/BusinessObjects would be highly regarded.
