All about the role:
The SAP Technical Architect is a strategic role that will enable business capabilities with SAP technology. The role includes creation of technology roadmaps as well as governance and support of existing deliveries and will be instrumental in modernising Electrolux technical landscape.
Working with the landscape in Electrolux means working with a wide range of applications in a global environment. Electrolux landscape includes applications from on premise ERP, SCM, EWM, etc to public cloud solutions like IBP, CCv2, C4C, etc. There is currently a big modernisation of the landscape moving into private cloud/RISE, Integration Suite, BW/4HANA, BTP and eventually S/4HANA.
The successful candidate is passionate about driving business value from technical solutions, analysing and designing solutions and collaborating with different level of stakeholders in a global setting. You will be part of a team of global architects with expertise in different business processes and technologies.
What you'll do:
Create and own the SAP landscape strategy and design technical landscapes, both on premise and cloud.
Establish and maintain SAP technical architecture principles, standards and guardrails to ensure scalable, secure and supportable solutions across the SAP landscape, for example considering data volume and performance.
Define and govern non-functional requirements including security, availability, performance, resilience, recoverability and operational supportability.
Own architecture decisions and review proposed solutions from functional and technical teams to ensure alignment with architecture standards.
Collaborate with SAP, implementation partners and internal teams to jointly resolve complex issues or design solutions.
Provide architecture leadership and guidance in high-priority support issues.
Create and own the roadmap for Application Lifecycle Management to ensure the applications used are efficiently supporting the IT processes.
Participate in ERP modernisation program, including move to private cloud, conversion to S/4HANA and implementation of Business Data Cloud (BDC).
Proactively monitor innovation and emerging technologies, including AI-driven capabilities, to identify business value opportunities.
Mentor and provide guidance to technical and functional teams and promote architecture best practices across the organization.
Who you are:
You possess excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to senior IT management, technical, functional and business teams in English.
Demonstrate strong business acumen, with a solid understanding of SAP business processes and the ability to influence stakeholders through effective relationship management and communication.
Able to work independently and as part of distributed, multi-disciplinary, multi-national teams with good collaboration skills
Able to deal with ambiguity and manage multiple priorities
A proactive learner with a strong passion for continuously expanding your knowledge and skills across SAP technologies and the broader digital ecosystem.
Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Fluent in English.
Required qualifications:
8+ years of SAP technical platform and architecture experience, including significant experience designing and governing enterprise-scale hybrid SAP landscapes.
Proven experience acting as SAP Technical Architect, Lead SAP Basis Architect, SAP Platform Architect or equivalent architecture leadership role.
Application Lifecycle Management, including e.g. transports, monitoring, testing and documentation using Solution Manager, CloudALM and/or third party tools.
S/4HANA conversion, preferably with experience in optimizing downtime.
Experience with SAP BTP platform architecture, account models, service enablement, for example linked to AI.

SAP Security, including roles and authorisation design.
Integration technology (PI/PO, CPI, Integration Suite).
Custom development on stack and side-by-side in BTP or non-SAP platforms.
