The Role: As an SAP Technical Analyst, you are responsible for SAP applications configurations, deployments, and integrations in SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. The SAP Technical Analyst will assist in defining requirements, designing, implementing, and testing application code changes to meet client business process and application requirement that integrate with APEX Supplier Products and Services with Client SAP ERP and assists client SAP configurations and upgrades.

Working experience on the following SAP technologies is required:

•              SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) – development, extension, and integration

•              CDS Views (Core Data Services) – data modeling and annotations

•              Fiori – UI development, SAPUI5, and Fiori elements

•              S/4HANA Integration – embedded analytics and side-by-side extensibility

•              RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming) – building Fiori apps and OData services

•              SAP Integration Suite – cloud-based integration, API management, and event mesh

Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) integrations, supplier onboarding, Invoice management, and touchless invoice process

 The Work - 

·     10+ years in IT experience with at least three years of experience managing SAP data Integrations and providing solutions with third party tools.

·     Strong Experience in S/4HANA and ECC Environments.

·     Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP programming, Data Integration, maintaining SAP applications using ABAP and/or ABAP Objects, developing custom API and web services.

·     Experience in OData, JSON & Enabling APIs using SOA is a must.

·     Strong experience in Business Partner functions includes customizations and develop automations around that.

·     Develop and maintain programs to enhance the assigned application module using the SAP development tools (ABAP, SAP Script, IDoc’s, BAPI’s, and RFC).

·     Must have good hands-on experience in Data Integration & Extraction solutions from SAP with third party applications using Web Services & Data files.

·     Experience in programming interfaces and transferring data from/to SAP and external systems.

·     Experience on various SAP modules like SD, PM, MM, HR, PO, FI/CO, AR/AP, CRM and SRM.

·     Strong knowledge in SAP modules especially Vendor, Invoice and Payments processing and associated SAP Data dictionary & schema structure.

·     Creating web-based programs using ABAP for Data Interchange.

·     Debug through complex programs to identify errors/ determine reasons for identified problems.

·     Has extensive knowledge and skill in ABAP programming, SAP data dictionary and file structures, SAP ADI, ALE and in customizing IDOC’s, BAPI’s and interface using RFC calls.

·     Implement the client’s requirements using technologies such as ABAP, SAP Scripts, web services according to the design documentation and template guidelines utilizing/ creating reusable code that is easily upgradeable/ maintainable.

·     Experience in code review, unit testing & system integration testing with SAP to Portal.

·     Experience in all phases of SDLC with Analysis, Design, Implementation, and testing based on client requirements.

·     Understand requirements from business analyst and end users to enhance existing SAP-API packages.

·     Create technical specifications, documentation, code comments of programs/ interfaces based on functional specifications provided.

·     Ensure that the programs/ interfaces are Unit Tested including created sufficient test data to complete scenario & Integration testing with other systems.

·     Support clients through the User Acceptance, Parallel Testing and Go-Live phases.

·     Experience and knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture is an advantage.

·     Technical knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL, UML, XML,HTML, Java Script, Open source frameworks struts, servers, web logic, Apache, Tomcat, Web Methods IS, Web Sphere, Web services/XML SOAP and REST applications.

·     Understanding on Relational databases: Oracle and SQL server and Tools like Eclipse, Toad, SQL and XML.

·     Occasionally work overtime and will to travel to Client sites, if necessary.

·     Bachelor of Science in information technology.

• Assisting clients with customizing their SAP software to work with Apex Web APIs and data export routines.
• Strong Experience in various Data migrations tools and SOA, XI, PI, Data Extract adapters in SAP ECC.
• Deep understanding in providing solutions & custom programs using Standard APIs, Architecture, Enablement
• Analyzes and solves problems that are lower complexity and may be routine in nature, requiring varied responses depending on the situation.
• Interacts with peers before updating supervisors. Likely to have some interactions with non-management levels at the client.
• Receives minimal instruction on daily work tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments.
• Design decisions impact own work and may impact the work of others.
• Individual contributor and works with other teams for integrations.
• Provide technical and client support.

• Design, deploy and configure multiple SAP landscapes like ,S\4 HANA, ECC 6.0, SAP BI, SAP HR, SAP SRM, SAP CRM, XI/PI, Enterprise Portals and other SAP components.
• Installing and configuring SAP ECC software at Apex and assisting our clients with customizing their SAP software to work with Apex WebAPIs and data export routines.
• Address potential problems and glitches promptly, implement security measures and regularly perform system upgrades for Apex Supplier portal and APEX clients.
• Perform OSS Notes updates, EHP upgrades, SAP upgrades, add-on deployments, support Pack upgrades, Kernel upgrades and major release upgrades.
• Perform SAP system refreshes, database copies and client copies.
• Configure & Monitor Internet Communication Manager (ICM) and Trace all traffic.
• Configure SAP single sign on.
• Perform OS and DB migrations using DMO.
• Configure SSL\HTTPS within SAP Instance and enable ABAP\WebAPIs for secured communications.
• Configure client\server Proxy, SOA Manager and SPROXY for Integration with Third party systems and Microsoft .Net services.
• Configure and install Certificates for client and Server.
• Monitoring the system and performance tuning to ensure SAP ECC and work flows are running smoothly

and ensure that system service-level patches and backups are up-to-date for all technical components.

Skills and Abilities:

·     SAP ECC & Net Weaver applications: SAP XI – Exchange Interface, SAP PI – Process Integration.

·     Good knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL, XML, HTML, Java Script, web logic, Apache, Tomcat, Web Methods IS, Web Sphere, Web services/XML SOAP and REST,ODATA.

·     Experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including design, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.

·     Very good verbal and written communication skills.

·     Confident & Must be able to face onsite challenges and address the issues on call with clients.

·     Dedicated, Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
