Job Description
The SAP Solutions Architect will be accountable for robust solutions, stabilization, and continuous improvement, ensuring high-quality processes and system reliability. In this role, success will be measured by solution performance (defect trends), stabilization, and forward-looking technological enablement. The Architect will report directly to the Vice President of Core Applications and will work closely with business leaders, IT technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive business transformation through SAP S/4 HANA.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design and Implementation
- Architect, design, and implement solutions for non-finance SAP modules, with a focus on Quote to Cash, Plan to Fulfill, Logistics, and Product Serialization.
- Adopt abd Adapt the Middleware and EDI enablement strategy and game plan
- Lead and oversee the setup and management of ODM and OSAT processes, ensuring seamless integration with SAP systems.
- Manage the setup of new Finished Goods hubs, ensuring smooth operational transitions.
- Ensure all new solutions meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
- Solution Robustness and Stabilization - Measure robustness by tracking and addressing incidents and design defects reported within 90 days of solution rollout.
- Continuously improve and stabilize existing solutions by identifying and resolving defects, with progress measured by a year-over-year reduction in incidents.
- Develop documentation and impact assessments to ensure solutions are well-understood across teams.
Technology Enablement and Future Direction
- Drive process automation and efficiency initiatives, leveraging AI and cutting-edge technologies to enable future-ready solutions.
- Identify and evaluate new trends and SAP functionalities to enhance operational capabilities.
- Collaborate with business leaders to align IT strategies with evolving business needs and long-term goals.
Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with business functions, leadership, and technical teams to gather requirements and provide thought leadership in designing optimal solutions.
- Facilitate communication between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring clarity of solution objectives and progress.
- Present impact assessments and solution designs effectively to leadership and business teams.
Documentation and Governance
- Develop and maintain robust documentation for all solutions, ensuring traceability and adherence to governance standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal controls.
- Track and report progress against MBOs (Management by Objectives) related to solution robustness, stability, and future technology enablement.

- Measured by the number of incidents and defects reported within 90 days post-rollout.
Stabilization and Continuous Improvement:
- Measured by a decreasing trend in annual defects across non-finance processes.
Forward-Looking Technology Direction
- Measured by achieving process automation targets, AI enablement, and operational efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in SAP architecture, with a strong focus on S/4 HANA and non-finance processes.
- Extensive experience working in technology manufacturing or semiconductor manufacturing environments.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing processes such as Quote to Cash, Plan to Fulfill, Logistics, ODM, OSAT, and Product Serialization.
- Strong knowledge of forward and reverse logistics, shipping, transportation, and SAP supply chain modules.
- Experience leading complex implementations and stabilizing existing solutions across global business units.
Preferred Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with business functions, leadership, and IT technical teams.
- Exceptional documentation and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex designs and impacts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation through automation and AI within SAP processes.
- SAP certification and project management experience are a plus.
Additional Information
For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $149,430 to $289,200. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
