As an SAP Projects and PMMO Support Specialist, you will be using your skills and expertise to provide technical support and guidance for our SAP S/4HANA Project Systems and PMMO solution. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, and demonstrated experience of working with Project Systems (PS) and Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) in SAP S/4HANA. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuring, and enhancing the solution, inclusive of Master Data, Transactional, Reporting, and RICEFW. This will include interacting with business and technical resources to resolve issues, identify enhancements, and implement changes in applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support for S/4HANA Project Systems (PS) module in a project-based manufacturing environment with government contracting costing requirements, including direct/customer, and indirect (IRAD, B&P, CAPEX, etc.) project structures
- Provide hands-on support for S/4HANA Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) functionality to support actual material costing requirements across the organization, in compliance with DCAA and DFARS MMAS regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with S/4HANA PS & PMMO solution in a timely manner, including working directly with business users on production support and releases of new functionality
- Enhance existing S/4HANA PS & PMMO functionality to continue to improve and evolve the solution with agile releases of new functionality into production environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solution capabilities
- Develop and execute testing plans for bug-fixes and new functionality to support change control processes
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on S/4HANA PS & PMMO functionalities
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP costing trends and best practices
- Coordinate and collaborate across multi-discipline/multi-organizational teams to understand key aspects of various subsystems, safety/audit requirements, and operational requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience and typically five (5) or more years of relevant technical experience.
- A minimum of 5 or more years of experience working as an SAP Support Specialist, with a focus on SAP Project Systems and SAP Grouping Pegging and Distribution or S/4HANA PMMO functionality. S/4HANA experience preferred.
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Project Systems in a project-based manufacturing environment
- Significant experience designing, implementing and supporting SAP GPD or S/4HANA PMMO functionality for actual costing requirements for government contractors
- Strong working knowledge of utilizing different PMMO Grouping strategies including the impact and benefits to Material Requirements Planning (MRP) including both production planning and procurement processes in meeting potential business driven scenarios
- Familiarity with DCAA and DFARS MMAS compliance requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and train end-users
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements and work in a fast-paced environment
- Up-to-date knowledge of S/4HANA trends and best practices for PS and PMMO solutions
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in implementing and supporting solutions in SAP S/4HANA in the areas of Project Systems and material costing (GPD or PMMO) with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-value business outcomes
- Experience with Dassian Product Actual Costing and Estimating (PACE) module
- Familiar with S/4 HANA and/or SAP ECC architecture and knowledge of ABAP de-bugging
- Experience with SQL, XML, JSON, and Postman, CI/CD
- Ability to motivate and work with others
- Experience designing and developing maintainable production applications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills that enable you to create, communicate, track and execute plans in a team environment
- Prior exposure to working successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment emphasizing rapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities, with minimal supervision

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
$138,634.92 - $190,623.01
