Summary of the Role:As a senior SAP Software Engineer, you will be able to demonstrate your extensive experience (5+ years) and technical expertise to craft, develop, and optimize multi-layered SAP solutions that meet multidimensional business requirements. You will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and partner with multi-functional teams and leadership to drive innovation within our SAP landscape.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:- Overall own the design and deploy of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical specifications.
- Analyze and optimize existing SAP systems and processes for improved performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with business analysts to bring together and refine requirements, translating them into scalable SAP solutions.
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
- Lead all aspects of system integration processes, ensuring detailed connectivity between SAP and other enterprise applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, encouraging their professional growth.
- Perform system testing, performance tuning, and solving of wicked issues in SAP applications.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and standard methodologies, recommending improvements to existing systems.
- Successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Quality and performance of developed solutions as evaluated by user feedback and system metrics.
- Contribution to team knowledge-sharing initiatives and overall team performance.
- Level of innovation and improvement in existing SAP processes and applications.
Job Qualifications
Key Skills:- Proficiency in ABAP programming and experience with other languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript).
- Highly qualified in multiple SAP modules e.g., AP ERP, SAP S/4HANA (Embedded Business Warehouse & Integrated Planning), HANA Modeling, CDS Views, BI Tools (Lumira & WebI), and more
- Strong understanding of integration technologies (e.g., IDocs, BAPIs, APIs).
- Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP Business Technology Platform).
- Extensive problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Validated leadership in project management methodologies and practices.
- Fluent in English
