About the Role
NRI is seeking an experienced SAP Senior Functional Consultant – Finance (FICO) to join our Managed Services Enterprise Applications team.
This senior role will provide functional expertise across SAP Finance, supporting complex enterprise environments covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting.
You'll work closely with Finance, Shared Services, Procurement, Asset Management, Payroll and Technology teams, while acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must be eligible to get Security Clearance therefore we can only accept Australian Citizens.
What You’ll Do
- Provide functional support across SAP FI/CO
- Configure and maintain GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting
- Support financial transactions, reconciliations, payments and financial integrations
- Support month-end, year-end and statutory reporting
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Gather requirements and develop functional specifications
- Support upgrades, regulatory updates, testing and releases
- Monitor financial interfaces, integrations and batch jobs
- Support financial master data governance
- Work across Finance, HR/Payroll, Procurement, ABAP, Basis and Security teams
- Drive automation, standardisation and finance process improvements
- Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to other consultants where required
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years' SAP FICO functional consulting experience
- Strong expertise across GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting and Bank Accounting
- Experience supporting large, complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of reconciliations, banking, financial controls and asset accounting
- Experience supporting month-end/year-end, audit, financial reporting and regulatory requirements
- At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations OR 5 years' full-time production support
- Strong configuration, troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability
- Excellent Finance stakeholder engagement and consulting skills

Skills Required
- 5+ years of SAP FICO functional consulting experience
