- To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:
- Responsible for implementing part or all of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design.
- Analyzes business/ functional requirements and prepares development project schedule, tasks, and estimates.
- Performs technical design and documents technical specifications. Ensures compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture.
- Develop ABAP functionality, report, enhancement, Interface etc
- Develop HANA objects like OData, CDS views, CI functions and SQL scripts.
- Support the application development efforts, unit testing, create technical specifications, conduct code review, create and manage transports across SAP Systems
- Develop test plans and automated scripts to assure expected performance quality levels meet standards in development efforts. Analyze root cause and provide solutions for production and development issues
- Responsible for developing inbound and outbound interfaces to/from the cloud to On-Premise and Cloud instances of SAP Products
- Provides planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment.
- Defining and implementing of interfaces to upstream and downstream systems
- Responsible of understanding various integration adapters in SAP CPI (SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, REST Adapters) to exchange messages between sender and receiver
- Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders.
- Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans
- Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of SAP experience as an SAP ABAP consultant and 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience
- At least 2 SAP end-to-end implementation experience and at least one S/4HANA Implementation / conversion experience
- Proficient with Traditional ABAP WRICEFs and working with SAP Web IDE, Eclipse IDE, ADT
- Integrate SAP S4 HANA with SAP middleware using IDocs, remote function modules, web services or ABAP proxies.
- Experience working with Native SQL, CDS, AMDP, ALV on HANA, Adobe Forms, RF screen Programming, CDS views, CE functions and SQL scripts
- Experience in SQL Trace SAP Run time analysis Debugging ABAP Query Info Sets
- Knowledge of ABAP Object-Oriented Programming
- Experience in handling different data conversions like JSON to XML, CSV to XML, etc.
- Desirable Experience with EDI integrations, API management
- Able to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate. From the requirements, able to develop a high level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package.
- Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements.
- Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologies
- Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support
- Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing and presenting appropriate status reports.
Qualification Requirements
- SAP Technical Consultant with S/4HANA Implementation Experience
- Must be able to fluently communicate in English
- Experience with global, large scale ERP implementations
- Business and Process Knowledge
- Cross functional knowledge in business domains
- Excellent time-management/schedule skills; ability to meet deadlines.
- Results-oriented and demonstrated experience in leading work sessions with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel upto 10% in US and EMEA
Education & Experience - 6+ years of relevant work experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
