Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Senior Consultant to support end-to-end Global Trade Services (GTS) implementations in China /Taiwan. The role requires strong expertise in SAP GTS modules, combined with hands-on experience in implementation and integration projects. This position involves close collaboration with stakeholders and requires full-time onsite engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and lead end-to-end SAP GTS implementation projects, from requirements gathering through to post-go-live support.
Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate clients on SAP GTS capabilities and functionalities.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP GTS solutions.
Design and configure SAP GTS modules, including:
Compliance Management
Customs Management
Risk Management
Integrate SAP GTS with other relevant SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI).
Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to junior consultants and project team members where required.
Stay updated with the latest SAP GTS trends and developments to provide thought leadership and advisory to clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
5+ years experience as in SAP area, with a focus on SD/MM/EWM/TM/Ariba implementation and integration projects, preferably within a Professional Services/ Consulting environment.
Proven experience in SAP GTS implementation and integration projects, preferably within a consulting or professional services environment.
Strong knowledge of SAP GTS modules, especially:
Compliance Management
Customs Management
Good knowledge of supply chain, including warehouse, material master data management, purchase to pay, order to cash, transportation management.
Experience working on European projects is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of global trade processes and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work onsite full-time in China.
Experience working in international project environments.
